Lumecca is the most innovative and powerful Intense Pulse Light (IPL) device currently offered to treat pigmented and vascular lesions. Operating at a 40% total pulse energy, a standard IPL only operates at 10-15% of the total pulse energy. Lumecca uses a higher peak power than your standard IPL device, which provides patients with maximum results in fewer treatments.

  • Is it painful?

    We use a topical lidocaine on the skin prior to treatment making the treatment tolerable.

  • How long does the treatment take?

    We will numb you for 20-30 minutes before the treatment. The actual procedure itself takes about 45 minutes.

  • How many sessions are needed?

    Quantity of treatments needed is patient specific. We recommend anywhere from 1-3 dependent on patient goals and severity of skin conditions.
