What is Moxi?
Moxi is a gentle, non-ablative, fractionated laser that treats melasma, skin discoloration, improves skin tone and texture, and boosts collagen production. Moxi is safe for all skin types and tones and is suitable to be performed year round.
Cost and Frequency:
- For treatment of melasma, hyperpigmentation, and texture irregularities, 3-4 Moxi treatments are recommended. These treatments are spaced 4-6 weeks apart.
- Moxi is $700 for the full face. You can add on neck, chest, and hands for $200 per additional area.

What to expect at your Moxi Treatment:
- We’ll apply topical numbing cream to ensure your comfortable during your treatment. After you numb for 30 minutes, we’ll clean your skin, provide protective eyewear, and begin your treatment.
- The treatment is usually 10 minutes or less. We provide a hand held fan for added comfort measures during your treatment.
- After treatment, we’ll massage specialized post care serums into your skin to help with skin healing.
- We’ll send you home with our post-treatment recovery kit to use for the next 5-7 days.
What to expect after your Moxi Treatment:
- Your skin might feel warm and/or hot for 1-2 hours after your Moxi treatment. Warmth may continue up to 12-24 hours after treatment. You may apply cold compresses or use a handheld fan to provide relief.
- Swelling can occur and is typically expected immediately after treatment. You may use cold compresses to help relieve swelling.
- Redness is normal and is expected after treatment. Redness can persist for up to 7 days. You may use your Recovery Kit for relief.
- MENDs (microscopic epidermal necrotic debris) will appear on the 2nd or 3rd day after treatment. These appear as tiny dark spots and bronzed appearance to the treated skin. MENDs are part of the healing process where treated tissue is working its way out of your body as new skin is regenerated. During this time, your skin will feel like sandpaper before the MENDs flake off. Do not pick at your skin.
- Apply sunscreen and/or makeup 24 hours after treatment.
