HOW DOES IT WORK?


The DiolazeXL uses a diode laser beam to pass through the skin toward your hair follicles. The laser beam passes energy which in turn heats the root of the hair, which prevents hair growth.

  • Does it hurt?

    The DiolazeXL has a built-in cooling surface which is one of the largest for all hair removal devices. This ensures patient comfort during treatment, with the majority of patients expressing that treatment with the DiolazeXL is painless. Patients are numbed prior to treatment.

  • Why do I have to have multiple treatments?

    Laser hair removal works best when hair follicles are in their mature stage; however, at any given time your hair is in various stages of growth. Multiple treatment sessions = better outcome.

  • How many sessions are required?

    We recommend 6-8 treatments with the DiolazeXL. Hair is reduced with each treatment and results are observed after 4-6 sessions. The number of sessions will differ depending on your hair color, hair type, body area, and skin tone.

  • Which areas of the body can be treated?

    DiolazeXL can be safely used on most areas of the body that have unwanted hair. The most commonly treated areas include: bikini, legs, underarms, upper lip, chin, neck, face, back, and chest.
